danish-truckers.com is operated by Pellucid Software (Denmark), which is the data controller for the personal data described on this page. Questions and requests regarding your data can be sent to info@pellucidsoftware.com.
What data we process
Donations and payments
All payments are handled by Stripe. Your card or payment details are entered directly on Stripe's secure payment page and never reach our servers. From Stripe we receive only what we need to verify a donation: your e-mail address, the amount, and the payment status.
Download links by e-mail
When you donate for ETS/ATS Advanced CoPilot, we use the e-mail address from your Stripe payment to send you a personal download link. The link is valid for 30 minutes and contains your e-mail address in a cryptographically signed form. You can request a new link at any time using the same e-mail address; we verify it against the payment records held by Stripe. We do not keep our own database of customers or e-mail addresses, and we do not send newsletters or marketing.
Technical data
This website uses no analytics, no advertising trackers and no tracking cookies, and it does not keep access logs of your visits. To prevent abuse of the download service, IP addresses and e-mail addresses used for link requests are held briefly in the server's memory for rate limiting; this data is never written to disk and disappears automatically.
Local storage in your browser
Your language and dark/light-mode preferences are stored in your own browser (localStorage). This information never leaves your device and is not a cookie that tracks you.
The ETS/ATS Advanced CoPilot app
The app runs entirely on your own computer. It reads game telemetry locally and sends no data to us or to anyone else. The only network action it performs is opening the donation page in your browser if you click the donate button.
Purposes and legal basis
- Verifying donations and delivering download links: performance of our agreement with you (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
- Rate limiting and abuse prevention: our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and available (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
- Payment records kept by Stripe: legal obligations, including bookkeeping legislation (GDPR art. 6(1)(c)).
Who we share data with
- Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland) — payment processing. Stripe is an independent data controller for the payment itself; see Stripe's privacy policy. Stripe may transfer data to Stripe, Inc. in the USA under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
- one.com (Denmark) — delivery of the e-mails containing your download link.
We never sell or rent personal data, and we share nothing beyond the above.
How long we keep data
We keep no customer database ourselves: donation verification happens live against Stripe each time. Payment records are retained in Stripe for as long as bookkeeping legislation requires (in Denmark, currently 5 years from the end of the financial year). Rate-limiting data exists only in server memory and is cleared automatically.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to info@pellucidsoftware.com to exercise your rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), www.datatilsynet.dk.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we process personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on the affected pages.
